If learning to cook passed you by or you want to increase your confidence in the kitchen then you may be interested in coming along to take part in a basic skills course. Alternatively, perhaps there is a dish or a skill that you have always wanted to learn such as how to make choux pastry, pasta or meringues in which case, please don't hesitate to get in touch. I am able to provide lessons in small groups or on a one-to-one basis. Whether you are looking for some fresh ideas to cook for the family or want to prepare a special meal for an occasion, at Skylight Kitchen I can offer individual lessons or come with a friend to get some hands-on cooking experience in a relaxed and friendly environment and leave with the confidence to try some new dishes at home.
If you are heading to Uni or College and need to brush up on your cookery skills then this could be the course for you.
Over two days you will cook a range of great tasting dishes to impress your housemates, whilst also learning how to plan budget-friendly, nutritious meals. You will eat what you cook in the morning for lunch & take home what you cook in the afternoon. The days run from 10:00-3:00pm or can be split into four 2.5hr morning or afternoon sessions. Contact Skylight Kitchen to arrange dates that suit you. Classes can be individual tuition or a group of up to four so why not bring some friends.
Aprons, all cooking equipment, recipe cards and containers for bringing food home will be provided.
